Our Lady of Lebanon — Patroness of Lebanon and the Maronite Church
Our Lady of Lebanon (Arabic: سيّدة لبنان, Sayyidat Lubnan) is the title given to the Blessed Virgin Mary as the heavenly patroness of Lebanon. The principal shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon is at Harissa, near Jounieh, Lebanon — a hilltop basilica and statue erected in 1908 overlooking Jounieh Bay and a major Christian pilgrimage destination in the Middle East.
